Rêvasser au pied d'un arbre, méditer, lire, réfléchir, dormir...combien j'aime les arbres, petits, ronds, grands, feuillus, dénudés et combien de fois il m'est arrivé de faire une petite halte sous leur feuillage.
Daydreaming at the foot of a tree, to meditate, read, think, sleep ... how I love trees, small, round, large, deciduous trees, bare and how many times I happened to me to make a quick stop under their foliage

This was a strange thing to come across on a beach, three perfectly good lemons placed on a driftwood tree. Quite a long way from anywhere with no evidence of a picnic or a drinking spree around? The mind boggles!

Trees reflected in ice flows of the Connecticut River in New Hampshire. This is detail from a larger photograph in my stream.
This tree is about 20 feet tall or maybe taller and it is covered with these beautiful yellow flowers. I'm sorry but I have no idea what it's called.
Have a wonderful day everyone! I hope that you will have a HAPPY and BLESSED Mothers' Day weekend! It's my first without my own mother but I will go and visit her. I do miss her a lot!
Thank you so much for stopping by and for your kind comments!

Our Daily Challenge: Poetry
Up into the cherry tree
Who should climb but little me?
I held the trunk with both my hands
And looked abroad in foreign lands
Robert Louis Stevenson
I THINK that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the sweet earth's flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.
